I like to eat, eat, eat, apples and bananas…well bananas anyway

This post originated yesterday – I think I got everything fixed

Hi Everyone. Today is what I would call a detox success. I drank TONS of water, and ate all kinds of yummy, good for me stuff.

Breakfast included a tall glass of water, my version of a green monster (1 Banana, some frozen raspberries, a handful of spinach, some vanilla unsweetened almond milk, and a scoop of amazing grass), herbal tea, and a HUGE grapefruit. Oh grapefruit, I love thee.

I spent most of my day shopping around. I guess I just needed to get out of the house. In that process, I kind of forgot to eat for a while. Usually I graze and eat throughout the day, but I ended up having a late lunch today. When I got home I grabbed a serving of Trader Joes Sweet and Spicy Pecans. They’re pretty yum, but not amazing.

That did NOT hold me over. I was microwaving leftovers from last night within 5 minutes. I had the leftover honey glazed lime-cilantro ahi tuna with pine nut and sage butternut squash. Definitely better fresh, but still fantastic.

While I was eating this, Brian decided to make his version of sushi. I was not brave enough to try it

Dinner came around pretty quickly, so I made Daal over spinach and romaine. It pretty much sucked. It was much better the last time I made it. Something about Tumeric didn’t give it enough flavor. I used curry powder the last time and it was awesome.

Gotta love the daily grind..

If you want any recipes, please post a comment, and I’ll be sure to get it to you 🙂

First day in this new world of blogging

Hi everyone. My name is Kristen and i’m a blogging infant. I haven’t even started crawling :-P. I’m hoping this blog will keep me accountable to everything I put into my body on a regular basis. I’m ultimately going for health, happiness, and well being. If you have any constructive criticism, I’d love to hear it! Help along the way could be awesome.

I am currently on day 4 of a 21 day detox. It is very similar to the one Leah has been doing recently. I will post more pictures and stuff later. Prepare to be overwhelmed. I”m cooking a TON tonight so I don’t have to worry too much for the rest of the week.

Much love – talk soon <3LYE
